We built a tech stack ahead of its years. We encoded video in ways no one had ever thought possible. We were basically time traveling - alien - magicians. We built the kind of tech stack that makes other engineers go quiet. In a good way.
The best moment wasn't any of that. It was a phone call from mom during a Bon Jovi stream. She had no idea about the video encoding, the load balancing, the Akamai partnership. She just said: "Hey — your company is really cool. Bon Jovi looks and sounds great."
She was living on a prayer. We were living the startup dream. And that phone call was the whole point.
